MAPP GAS

MAPP gas  - original composition is methyl acetylene- propadiene 44%, propane 56%. In the spring of 2008, true MAPP gas production ended in North America when production was discontinued at the only remaining plant making it. Current products labeled "MAPP" or “Map pro” are in fact MAPP substitutes. In China, Ningbo Koman’s Refrigeration Industry Co.,Ltd is the legal owner of Mapp Gas trademark, also the first company who develop the optimized formula of Mapp. During three years’ research, we compared the feature and performance of dozens of fuel gas and additive, finally we determine the formula as it is now, and got the China patent. The Mapp Gas we developed is very environment-friendly and scientific, the products of combustion are only carbon dioxide(CO2) and water, without any pollution to the environment. By using our special welding torch, the burning temperature can reach 1350 degree centigrade min. in very short time under the conditions that without pure oxygen combustion-supporting(tested in the lab), this temperature can meet the welding needs of most metal material. Our unique patented Mapp Gas don’t have the flashback phenomenon like Oxygen – Acetylene during the burning, it is safe for use. It is fit for HVAC maintenance , installation and outdoor operation(Even if the ambient temperature is 0℃, the pressure still can reach 4.5Bar min., it can be operated normally under low temperature or on high mountains). Besides, the flame of burning is reducible, it can restore the oxidized hot metal on the surface of welding joint, improve the welding quality. It is burning fully and the flame is clean, without uncomfortable dark smoke caused like burning the Oxygen – Acetylene.
